Day 1 – .ST. Michael’s Mount and a nice cup of Tea (07/08/23)
….and we’re off!!!!

Day one went really well. If the first day of a 14 day adventure could be scripted then this was it.
The weather was amazing with a light wind, blue sky and sunshine.

We really enjoyed the ride with some awesome climbs and passing along the coast with exceptional views of St Michael’s Mount.

The food stops were quite unique which included a picnic provided by Peter the creative ‘van driver’ and ‘Linden Hey Tea Room’, with loving care and service delivered by a wonderful elderly lady.

The last climb of a mile and a half to our hotel took way too long, but we are now there safe and sound; fed, watered and tucked up in bed for a good night’s sleep before the next stage of the adventure – St Austell to Bovey Tracey.
